Flying safely on the construction site
A construction site is a dynamic environment with cranes, scaffolding and people at work. We coordinate every flight in advance with the site manager: where the cranes turn, where people are working and where we can take off and land. On location we follow the site's safety rules.
Construction projects are often in urban areas or in controlled airspace around an airport. Drone Chiefs flies in the Specific category, under our own Operational Authorisation from the Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT), and arranges permission from air traffic control where needed.

How often should a construction project be filmed?
That depends on the duration and pace of the project. Many clients choose a fixed moment each month or per construction phase.
Can you also film in a city or near an airport?
Yes. With our Specific authorisation we also fly in urban areas and controlled airspace. We arrange the permission needed.
Do we get the footage quickly?
Yes. For progress shoots we deliver the footage quickly, so you can share it straight away with clients and followers.
