Hotel and resort drone filming
Let guests experience your location before they book
Drone filming for hotels, resorts and holiday parks
Guests choose where to stay based on the experience. One aerial shot of the location, the pool, the gardens or the coast says more than ten photos from the ground. Drone Chiefs makes drone videos, aerial photos and FPV tours for hotels, resorts, estates and holiday parks, in the Netherlands and beyond. We have filmed for Sunweb, a hotel in Greece, holiday parks in the Netherlands and a villa in Camps Bay, Cape Town, among others.
From aerial shot to FPV tour
A strong hotel video combines overview and experience. From the air you show the surroundings and the grounds; with an FPV drone you take the viewer smoothly through the entrance, the lobby and the rooms.
• Aerial photos and videos of the hotel, the grounds and the surroundings
• Indoor FPV tours, from the entrance to the suite
• Content for the website, booking platforms and social media
• Seasonal content: summer, autumn and events on location
Taking guests into account
When filming at a location with guests we pay extra attention to privacy and safety. We prefer to plan flights at quiet moments, such as early in the morning, avoid recognisable guests in shot and agree with your team in advance which areas we film. Indoors, FPV filming isn't bound by airspace rules, which makes it quicker to schedule.
For shoots abroad we request permission from that country's aviation authority. Drone Chiefs carries out drone operations throughout Europe.

Frequently asked questions about hotel drone filming
Do guests need to know we're filming?
We recommend informing guests in advance, for example at reception. We avoid recognisable people in shot unless they have given permission.
Can you film during opening hours?
Yes. We plan the flights so guests notice as little as possible, and prefer to film busy areas outside peak hours.
Do you also film resorts abroad?
Yes. We have experience filming in Greece and South Africa, among other places.
How long does a shoot take?
For a hotel or holiday park we usually plan half a day to a full day, depending on the size and the mix of aerial and FPV footage.
Get in touch for a no-obligation quote
Feel free to get in touch for a no-obligation quote for aerial filming, FPV footage or a full video production.
Include the location of your project with your request. That way we can check straight away which airspace it falls in and whether extra permits or flight preparation are needed. Based on that we give you a clear quote. Productions start from €750.
It also helps to briefly describe the project and whether you only need aerial footage or a complete production including editing. Think corporate films, commercials, FPV footage or social media content.
That way we can think along quickly and send you a quote that fits your plans and your production.
